ONLY One thing is sure in markets & trading.
If you do what most others do,you are out with losses.
Another thing
Market always moves below the recent lows or above the recent highs and then moves off the track you like to chase.
Keep the stop near recent low for a long trade?
And get screwed up fast.
you find it in dr barry burns course.
use it & you get killed.
prices move up and down before going in right final direction.
but how far?
by an amount of 4ATR TO 7ATR in target side and
by an amount of 7ATR TO 12 ATR on stoploss side.
wide stoploss looks cilly and stupid.
but not in real terms.
actually it moves a bit less or more.

A)prices moves in an accumulation phase.narrow range.looks like no need to do any trading.
they maintain it this way to make amateurs retailers lacking patience & discipline get fed up -bored-and finally enter a trade any one way without logic.
daytraders 98.5% are on this band wagon.
B) market moves in one direction-but this is wrong direction
C) market reverses with a bang and goes right way.
mORAL OF THE STORY IS
DONT TRADE IN ZONE A,
DONT TRADE IN ZONE B,
TRADE IN ZONE C-GO WITH THE final right move.
WAIT TILL FINAL MOVE COMES
right move may be in a w DOUBLE BOTTOM or m DOUBLE TOP pATTERN, BEWARE OF THAT.
